A twine is a rope consisting of twisted polymeric fibers resistant to ultraviolet light.

Household twine is mainly used in greenhouses. A number of crops need to be tied, and in greenhouse conditions with high humidity it is necessary to use such a base, which is not subject to rotting and does not deteriorate under the influence of water. This type of twine is also used in manufacturing, for example, in the manufacture of furniture, for packaging loads of various sizes, as well as for domestic purposes.

The thickness of household twine is 10,000 Dtex.

The maximum tensile force is 35 kg.
