Drip irrigation is a method of irrigation, in which water is supplied directly to the root zone of growing plants by regulated small portions using drip dispensers.
It allows significant savings of water and other resources (fertilizers, labor, energy and pipelines). Drip irrigation also provides other benefits: improved yields, prevention of soil erosion, reduced likelihood of disease and weeds.
One type of drip irrigation system is emitter tube drip irrigation. It is a thin-walled hollow product of small diameter with water outlets (emitters), embedded with a certain predetermined pitch through which the moisture is supplied to the root zone of each plant.
Drip&Drop – presents a line of seamless drip tubes with flat emitters. Different pour rates and tube sizes provide maximum flexibility in designing drip irrigation systems.
It adapts well to ultraviolet light, does not overheat, does not crack, it is more resistant to mechanical damag
Drip irrigation tapes are used in the following crop production applications:
- watering perennial ornamental plantings to beautify the landscape;
- watering of plants in greenhouses;
- watering of flowerbeds;
- cultivation of fruit gardens and vineyards;
- irrigation of vegetable and berry crops;
- cultivation of seedlings.
Advantages of use:
- reduction of weed growth
- reduction of water loss in the form of evaporation
- lower costs and labor costs for irrigation
- reducing the risk of fungal diseases of plants
- prevention of soil erosion
- protection from sun scalds on the leaves of the plants
- fertilizer saving
- better yield growth
- UV stabilization
